Raúl Jiménez is still waiting to hear from Fulham whether they intend to extend his contract beyond the summer.
That’s according to the Mexican edition of Marca, who report that the striker is yet to hear from Fulham about his future.
They say that while the striker continues to shine for Fulham and is currently experiencing one of his best moment since arriving in Europe, getting back to the level he showed before his skull fracture in 2020, Fulham have left him in the dark.
His current deal expires in the summer, and he is free to talk to clubs outside of England under the Bosman ruling should he wish to do so.
Fulham are yet to make any moves towards extending his contract, despite the fact he has nine goals and three assists in 25 games this season.
It is still unknown whether Fulham plan to stick with the 33-year-old and they’ve not made their intentions clear to him either. They do, though, have an option to extend his deal by another year and this may be why.
It’s still unclear if they’ll even take that up, though, leaving everyone wondering what’s going on given Jiménez’s continued impressive performances this season.
