Palmeiras have asked for help from Andreas Pereira’s representatives as they continue to try and get him from Fulham.
That’s according to Bolavip, who report that Pereira’s agents could prove to be a ‘very important ally’ as Palmeiras refuse to give up on the transfer.
According to what they have learned, Palmeiras have asked for help from Pereira’s staff to close the deal with Fulham.
This week is seen as the decisive one for the Brazilian club, who have been trying to sign Pereira since last year. They’ve not been successful as yet because Fulham have been resistant to the transfer taking place.
That stance is unlikely to have changed now that the transfer window is closed for them, so they could not sign a replacement until the summer.
Pereira has made it clear that he could like to negotiate the deal and return to his homeland. He believes it is a great opportunity for his career and has already informed Fulham’s representatives to facilitate the move.
Despite this, he has continued to be professional and not cause problems behind the scenes. Palmeiras had been hoping for his desire to leave would push Fulham into negotiating.
That hasn’t been the case, so they’ve now asked Pereira’s agents to help them and help them to bring this drawn-out saga to a positive conclusion, at least as far as they’re concerned.
