On Tuesday, we covered multiple claims from Italy which stated Fulham are in the picture to sign AC Milan’s Emerson Royal in the winter market.
Calciomercato provide the latest on Fulham’s interest in the right-back and their efforts to secure his services.
He joined Milan from Tottenham Hotspur last summer but can leave the San Siro in January because the Rossoneri are set to sign Manchester City’s Kyle Walker.
Milan have asked Emerson’s representatives to find the best possible solution in order to make room for Walker. Fulham and Galatasaray are among the options for the 26-year-old.
His agent Stefano Castagna will meet Fulham in the ‘next few hours’ regarding the permanent sale of his client.
The Rossoneri are waiting to receive formal offers for the Brazil international. The report states Fulham are proposing a better formula than Galatasaray, but the overall fee is less.
Galatasaray are offering a €2m loan fee with the right to buy set at €13m. Calciomercato make no mention of what Fulham are willing to offer, but it’s less than €15m to buy him.
Both Marco Silva’s side and the Turkish club are in the running to sign Emerson, who is ‘at the end credits’ at Milan. Developments are expected after his agent meets the London club.
