Fulham are planning to sign AC Milan’s Emerson Royal in the winter market.
Last summer, the right-back arrived at the Serie A side from Tottenham Hotspur and has been a regular at the San Siro, making 25 appearances in all competitions.
According to Sky Italia, Fulham and Galatasaray want to sign the Brazil international.
The Rossoneri are working on signing Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker in January and his arrival would push the Brazilian down the pecking order. Therefore, he could leave Sérgio Conceição’s side, who are ‘willing to listen to offers’.
Sky make no mention of their request to part ways with the 26-year-old or if he’s willing to leave.
With Walker’s arrival, MilanLive.it say Emerson is ‘destined to leave’. Marco Silva’s side and the Turkish club are named as the former Spurs man’s interested parties.
Galatasaray are the first to show interest and Milan have started negotiations with them for an expensive loan with an option to buy.
Fulham have shown interest in Emerson in the past few hours and the report states Milan would be discussing the possibility of a sale in this window. This gives Marco Silva’s side an advantage over Galatasaray in the transfer race.
